Dig Austin Music

In Austin we get down everyday of the week. We eat, breath, and sleep music. Sometimes there’s too much good music, too many swimming holes, BBQ’s, and late nights to ever hold a real job, so we form bands, pour our hearts out, and tour to pay bills and settle bar tabs.

Austin is a drifter’s paradise with it's own sonic flavor in tune with, yet resistant to the whims of Pop Culture. These are a few of the bands in town that keep us moving, shaking, and smiling. We all play music, tour, swap gigs and do our best to bring a little bit of Austin to the rest of the world.

This mix started as something to play between sets at shows, but with the rising cost of cassette tapes and the advent of the world wide web we thought we could pass it on to the friends we meet all over.
